This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through our website at themerouter.com and is governed by the laws of Ahmedabad Jurisdiction of India. By purchasing ThemeRouter, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
14-Day Free Trial
Yearly licenses include a 14-day free trial. Lifetime licenses are paid upfront and do not include a free trial.
If you continue with a Yearly license after the trial, its 30-day money-back guarantee begins on the date the paid license starts. A Lifetime license receives the same 30-day guarantee from its original purchase date.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new purchases of Yearly and Lifetime licenses (Starter, Developer, and Agency plans). Renewal payments are not eligible.
How to Request a Refund
You may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date for a new Yearly or Lifetime license. You may contact support for troubleshooting first, but troubleshooting is not required to request a refund within this period.
Refunds Outside the Guarantee
The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:
- Requests made more than 30 calendar days after the original purchase date
- Renewal payments
- Purchases involving fraud or a material violation of our Terms of Service or License Agreement
Renewal Payments
Renewal payments are non-refundable.
Yearly licenses automatically renew each year unless canceled before the renewal date. By purchasing a Yearly license, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You will receive email reminders 14 days and 7 days before your license renewal date
- You may cancel your license at any time before the renewal date through your account dashboard or by contacting support at [email protected]
- Once a renewal payment is processed, it is considered a continuation of your existing license and is not eligible for refund
- The 20% renewal discount applies only to Yearly renewals. Lifetime licenses are one-time purchases and do not renew
To avoid unwanted charges: Cancel your license before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue using ThemeRouter.
Lifetime Licenses
Lifetime licenses include product updates for the lifetime of the product and 1 year of plan-level support from the original purchase date.
New Lifetime purchases are eligible for the same 30-day money-back guarantee as Yearly purchases. After 30 calendar days, Lifetime purchases are non-refundable.
We recommend purchasing a Yearly plan first if you prefer to evaluate ThemeRouter before making a one-time purchase.
Refund Processing
Payment Method
All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Processing Time
- Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days of approval
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for funds to appear in your account
- For PayPal refunds, funds typically appear within 3-5 business days
License Deactivation
Upon refund approval and processing:
- The plugin may continue to function in a limited capacity, but you will not receive updates or support
- Your ThemeRouter license will be immediately deactivated
- Access to premium features, updates, and support will be revoked
Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution
Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute, we respectfully ask that you contact us at [email protected] to resolve the issue.
Chargebacks:
- Harm small businesses like ours with fees and penalties
- Prevent us from understanding and addressing your concerns
- May result in permanent account suspension and blacklisting
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute:
- Your license will be immediately terminated
- You will be permanently banned from purchasing or using ThemeRouter
- We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies to recover costs associated with fraudulent chargebacks
We are committed to fair resolution. If you have a legitimate concern, we will work with you to find a solution.
Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation warrants consideration beyond this policy, please contact us at [email protected] with a detailed explanation.
We will review requests on a case-by-case basis, but approval is at our sole discretion and does not guarantee a refund.
Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Your responsibility: It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Continued use of ThemeRouter after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Grandfathered purchases: Refund requests will be evaluated under the policy in effect at the time of purchase, except where legally required otherwise.
