To activate your ThemeRouter license, you’ll need:

  1. Your license key (received via email after purchase)
  2. Administrator access to your WordPress site
  3. ThemeRouter plugin installed and activated

How to activate your license? #

After purchasing ThemeRouter, you’ll receive a license key via email. This key unlocks premium features, automatic updates, and priority support.

Step 1: Locate your license key #

Your license key was sent to the email address you used during purchase. The email subject line is: “Thanks for subscribing”.

Can’t find the email?

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Search for emails from “ThemeRouter” or “Freemius”
  • Log in to your Freemius account with your registered email to view your licenses

Step 2: Navigate to ThemeRouter Settings #

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
  2. Go to **Settings → ThemeRouter**
  3. You’ll see the license activation screen on first launch

Step 3: Enter and Activate Your License #

  • Paste your license key into the “License key” field
  • Click the Activate License button
  • Wait for the confirmation message: License activated successfully!

Important: Each license key can be used on a limited number of sites based on your plan: Starter Plan, Developer Plan, and Agency Plan.

Step 4: Verify Activation #

Once activated, you’ll be redirected to the ThemeRouter settings page.

What Happens After Activation? #

Once your license is active, you’ll have access to:

Automatic Updates #

Your plugin will automatically receive updates when new versions are released. No manual downloads required.

Account & Billing Pages #

Two new pages will appear under Settings → ThemeRouter:

Account Page #

View your:

  • License plan details
  • Site activation slots (used/remaining)
  • Billing history and invoices
  • Payment method
  • Renewal date

Contact Us Page #

Submit support requests directly from your WordPress dashboard for:

  • Feature requests
  • Technical support
  • Billing questions
  • Bug reports

Priority Email Support #

Access our priority support team at support@themerouter.com with:

  • Help with complex migration projects
